United!

I started off the day by joining the BodyPump instructors at my Bartlesville, OK YMCA gym via ZOOM for the release of BodyPump United. What makes this release special is that it was filmed by the worldwide BodyPump elite instructor team using their smartphones from their different home locations for n the materclass video since everyone is distancing due to COVID. Today was the day that was designated to UNITE the BodyPump community through music and fitness.  Some of my fellow instructors who have moved away from Bartlesville were also able to join in this morning. It was so great to “see” them and sweat with them despite some sound technical difficulties.

My tank did not arrive by mail in time for this morning’s workout, but I was able to model it this afternoon!

Later in the morning, we met Grandma Dixie over at Ft Tuthill to participate in Flagstaff Festival of Science geocaching activity to kick off the festival week.

 We used satellite coordinates and our smart phones to find 3 different scavenger hunt locations and then back to the start for a prize! The prize was a bag filled with different STEM bridge-building activities and chick-fil-a coupons! Cool!
