Pinwheels for Peace

Ashton’s teacher for his T-Bird Time class was featured in the local paper for making a pinwheel display on Sept 21 for International Day of Peace. Each child designed a pinwheel with words and pictures describing what peace meant to each of them. Ms. Botke then printed out each of those images and made them into pinwheels for display outside the school.

Unfortunately, when Derek and I drove by MEMS yesterday, the display was already removed. Luckily Ashton was able to share his sayings and images below.

Meanwhile, Zach has been sharing details with us about his presentation on the Huns for World History as well as Lead for Chemistry class.
