In other news, we had a Northern Flicker family- both parents and two babies - visit our suet feeder this morning. In the picture below you can see one of the parents on the feeder, one flying (red underside if wings) and a baby on the branch above.
We had a fun day together as a family. We went to the Thorpe Park courts today play tennis. Zach was teaching me how to practice drop shots at the net. We had green chile cheeseburgers and corn on the cob for mid-afternoon dinner. It rained late this afternoon so we were all cozied up reading. This evening we played the game, Forbidden Desert. All around a nice day!
And in even more news, the Flagstaff School Biard voted unanimously to start school remote/online only on August 17 with in-person schooling starting October 9th or when deemed safe to do so. This is going to be another wild ride, especially with Ash starting middle school. Details to follow as we get them!
