Starting the Weekend with Chile!

After waking up this morning, I ate breakfast, walked Snickers, did a 20 minute yoga stretching routine, got Ashton set up with school assignments, cleaned out the inside of the refrigerator and all of thekitchen surfaces, vacuumed the bottom floor of the house, took a shower, cleaned the bathrooms, replaced a button on a pair of shorts, and made salad for lunch. Whew! Luckily green chile cheeseburgers on the grill was the reward! Yum!!!!

Derek converted our charcoal grill to an electric grill with heating element so that we can enjoy grilled goods during the fire ban. Yay! 

We have been enjoying the birds who have been visiting our feeders. We now routinely have hummingbirds fly in as well as a pair of Stellar Jays who like the peanut feeder. (Snickers loves it when the jays and squirrels drop peanuts. She eats both nuts and shells. Crazy dog!
