Concert at Little America Festival of Lights

The Little America hotel/convention center here in Flagstaff hosts an annual holiday celebration including music, kids’ activities, cookies, cider, and outdoor lights galore! The Flag Community Band was invited to play along with a few other local musical groups. It was a fun time! Ashton enjoyed the balloon artists. Everyone enjoyed the cookies. The band sounded great! Kind of strange to have a holiday celebration before Thanksgiving, but fun non-the-less! 

In other news, Derek and I will be visiting Ashton’s future middle school tonight for parent night to learn about programs and curriculum. 

Ash has also had puberty education at school this week which has resulted in a few humorous car conversations between the boys. Yesterday’s focus was on boys. Today they will learn about girls. Uh oh! Ha!
