Hiking the West Fork Trail on Oak Creek

We got up early this morning and made our way down to Sedona to hike 8 miles on the West Fork Trail of Oak Creek. We started our journey at the Call of the Canyon picnic area. The moderate trail took us along Oak Creek and at least 13 different water crossings! So fun! Despite Sedona’s normally hotter temps, the creek and canyon trail was shaded almost the whole way and was cool with an early morning start. We ended our 3.5 hour hike with a nice picnic lunch in the woods!
