We participated in Flagstaff’s second annual Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt yesterday afternoon. So much fun! Where last year participating establishments usually asked HP trivia questions for one to receive a scavenger hunt map stamp, this year one usually had to complete a task. For example in the “Ravenclaw Common Room” (aka The Beaver Street Brewery) one had to find the Ravenclaw house symbol. In another establishment, one had to be blindfolded and pin docks on a picture of the house elf to free Dobby the elf from a life of dark wizard servitude. The evening ended in Heritage Square with a costume contest, singing happy birthday to Harry (complete with birthday cupcakes) and concerts by the Flagstaff Junior bands and the Flagstaff Community Band.

Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross station (aka the Fksgstaff visitors center). Can’t be late for the Hogwarts Express!!!!

Grandpa Cliff decides to eat the deathly hallows- and lives to tell the tale!!!!
