More Flagstaff

Here are a few more pictures and events from our Flagstaff trip. The snow on Wednesday morning was gorgeous in the pines. I loved my late morning runs during the week with a combination of sun, light rain, or snow flurries depending on the block. Ha! At least it felt warm and so refreshing with the pine scent and chorus from the ravens and other birds. I still need to get used to the altitude and hills!

We enjoyed dinner on Wednesday night at Black Bart’s steakhouse with fabulous showtimes dung by the waitstaff.

Sour raspberry/cherry beer served with a champagne glass.

A tune from Hamilton!!!

Mmmmm biscuits with cinnamon butter!
The drive home to Bartlesville on Friday was very eventful. We stopped at McDonalds on BOTH the western and eastern borders of New Mexico to enjoy green Chile double cheeseburgers. We also stopped for frosted key limeades from Chick-fil-a!

About 20 miles outside of Amarillo, (I was driving), we drove through a thunderstorm that turned into golf ball sized hail. Very scary! No where to pull her and take shelter. Our car protected us, but did not fare so well with considerable body damage and cracked windshield and moon roof. State Farm was very helpful and we will be taking the car in for a repair estimate when the body shop opens tomorrow. After all of that, we made it home fine about 1am.
