Central Classic 5k 2019

A wet, but fun morning for a run. Ashton ran his first 5k with me today. We finished in 39 min 25 sec. a great time since Ashton has not really run before. He loved it and says now he wants to run track! It was such a joy to run and walk three miles with him. I love his voice and his positive comments. As we passed other runners or walkers he would always say good job or other words of encouragement (and also let them know how excited he was to run his first race). We met Derek and Zach at the finish line where they also finished their fun run! I love it when the boys join me in my hobbies!
