Lunch Date!

This has been the longest short- workweek EVER! Derek and I snuck away and had a fun lunch date to celebrate our 20th anniversary at the Copper Restaurant in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Price Tower. The restaurant has welcomed their new chef from Louisiana who specializes in Cajun fare. We enjoyed delicious chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, corn bread with assorted spreads (pimento cheese, honey butter, and bacon jam), and sausage red beans and rice with fried chicken thigh. Delicious!! We did not have room to enjoy dessert. We will be back! I love lunch dates with my vest friend! We need to do this more often!
