We went into Universal Studios today to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! So cool! It was definitely walking into another world!
We made our way to Diagon Alley which is where Harry learns he is a wizard. It has a great escape from Gringott’s goblin bank ride and a fire-breathing dragon too!
We then followed in Harry’s footsteps and went to Ollivanders where the boys each were chosen by their wands.
The wand detail is pretty cool. Ash’s wand is on the top. Zach’s is the larger wand with the snake and skeleton on the hilt.
Each wand comes with a map where you can go on a treasure hunt of sorts to various spots to perform different spells and wand motions to make magical things happen. Pretty cool!
Zach made the rain come out of the umbrella!

Mmmm butterbeer! The pic below is cold butterbeer. It was ok but too sweet. The hot kind, which we got in Hogsmede was awesome!

We then went to Kong’s Cross to platform 9 3/4 to ride the Hogwarts Express from London to Hogsmede.
Snow and 80 degrees!!!! It’s magic!!!

We ended our day by stuffing Ashton into the mouth of JAWS and then going to see Manheim Steamroller in concert in the park square. Pretty awesome!
