Field Trip Day!

Ashton and all if the Wayside 3rd grade classes went on a field trip to the Bartlesville History Museum, the Phillips Petrileum Museum, and the Nellie Johnstone Well. They then had lunch outside at Johnstone Park. It was a beautiful day for it too with temps in the high 70s. Spring is finally here! (At least for today!) Ash says his favorite part was learning about how a steam engine works (he described it in detail so he must have been listening today) and getting “gushed” by the Nellie Johnstone oil derrick.

Here is a pic from Ash’s teacher showing the kids at the Bville History Museum learnings by what it was like to attend school in 1910!

Lunch (from subway) hand delivered by Awesome Dad! - because we completely keyely firgot it was field trip day and to pack a lunch this morning. If it does not get on my calendar these days, I do not remember it!
