Cheers to wine and chocolate!

Derek and I had a date night last night attending the Cheers to Wine and Chocolate fundraiser event supporting OK Music. So fun! The wine/cheese and wine/chocolate pairings were fantastic!

The even started off with a dry champagne with heavy appetizers. The wine tasting portion started with a Prosecco paired with a fantastic parmesean cheese. 

American style dark chocolate truffle paired with a  Gewurtztraminer.  Amazing! 



We then had a blue cheese paired with a Port. I am not a big fan of sweet Port wines, but this combo was amazing. 

Then we had a European style Dark chocolate truffle with raspberry/chocolate filling paired with Rosa Regale. 

The most delectable wine/cheese combination was a dry red Mourdevre paired with an asagio cheese!

And the best chocolate of the evening, Fortunado Four dark chocolate truffle paired with Port wine.
