After a week of Houston trips, more rain, tornado warnings (Thursday) and other odds and ends, it was great to relax and cut loose a bit seeing Simply Three in concert last night at the community center. We saw them last year wen they came through and they were definitely worth seeing again. Even more special, the string trio visiting each of the Central Middle School orchestra classes yesterday. So Zach got to meet them and hear Glen (violin), Nick (bass), and Zach (cello) play up close and in person. They musical repertoire is mostly covers of popular top radio hits. (Rockin' strings are awesome!) However they had more of their own compositions for this concert which we liked even more than their covers. "Maverick" is my favorite! In other news, there is less than two weeks of school left. CRAZY!!!!!
