Happy Easter 2017!

Making Cascarones (Mexican confetti eggs)! Zach learned about them in Spanish class this week. So we decided to make our own at home today. Getting one smashed on your head is supposed to bring you good luck! 

 

    

 

 

Cool dye chromatography! Derek's gray egg was made by combining the blue dye from Ash's egg and the orange coloring from

Zach's egg. Cool!    

Aftermath! What you did not get to see was Snyx attacking the vacuum cleaner as we swept up the confetti!

What you did not see was the brotherly "love" during the competitive hunt. Elbowing, smack talk, and Ashton bumping his head on the house. Sigh! Time for a nap! Ha!
