Derek and I took Ashton down to Tulsa this afternoon for his two year heart checkup, EKG, and echocardiogram. Great news all around! No residual narrowing of his pulmonary valve and only mild leakage from the valvuloplasty procedure at 4 months old. His heart size and function are normal. He will not have to have another checkup for 2years when he will be a big, bad 4th grader!

I always find it ironic that Ash seems to have his checkups in February during heart and congenital heart defect awareness month. And of course all of the hearts everywhere for Valentines Day!
We had an ice cream snack to celebrate the good news after his appointment.
Wonderful...to hear the good news...although I don't think I have ever seen much normal with that whirlwind of a grand!
