Golden Driller Half Marathon

Started the weekend with a race (of course)! Took it slow and steady and felt great the entire time. Great weather, great company (thanks Tracy!), and great fun!

Saw big flocks of white Pelicans during and after the race. According to bird book, they breed near rivers and lakes in the Midwest prairie states (who knew?) and move to coasts when not breeding. 

Came home and had pizza with the boys at Hideaway! They revamped their menu and we had a new pizza with pepperoni, meatballs, onion, red pepper, AND green chile. Delish!!! 

I am now relaxing in the shade on our deck enjoying the breeze. Resting up for our Tulsa adventure this evening. Stay tuned!!!!
