Grand Canyon Sites!

Seeing the Grand Canyon was, well, GRAND. We got in 4-5 miles of hiking, including down into the canyon a bit. But boy, people were EVERYWHERE!!! Hard to just relax and enjoy the sites. 

Elk, right on the path! They obviously are used to humans. 

Bright Angel Trail down into the canyon. We made it down about a half mile to the first turn that you can see in the distance on the far right in the picture below. Really awesome! Would have loved to have done more, but parts of the trail were still icy (I was the only one wearing hiking boots.) and too many people crowding the path after lunch!
