Wayside Walk-a-thon 2015

The boys participated in the annual walkathon fundraiser at their school today. Well, more accurately it was a run-a-thon. AND it was a tad damp. I took the day off of work to help tally the kids' laps as they ran/walked the course with their grade groups for 20 minutes. Zach ran 15 laps with the 5th graders at 9 am. Ash ran 20 laps with the combined 1st and 2nd grades at 10:30 am (after rain delay). So proud of them!!!!! At noon, Rachel (who was also volunteering) and I met Derek and Terrance for lunch at a sandwich place near the school. Despite the rain, a very fun day. Now some R&R at home for me with Snickers, some tea, and a book!
