Sweet Saturday

A great family day. Ten mile bike ride in the morning. BBQ chicken on the grill! Afternoon reading and snoozing. Haven't had an afternoon nap in a long time. And tonight we went down to Tulsa to see and hear the Tulsa Symphony play music by John Williams! Saturday don't usually get much better!

Our bike ride was a bit of an adventure ride due to many downed branches and tree limbs from the storms that passed through last night. We got rained on a bit while we were out and got to ride through mud puddles. It was so much fun!!! I love feeling like a kid again by being out there playing with my kids!
Hefting bikes over downed limbs. Derek strong!
We all were coated with a bit of mud when we returned home! The splat factor was highly satisfying!
Despite the morning mud, we cleaned up well for the symphony!

A life sized remote controlled R2D2 even made an appearance. Sorry no pictures! The theater was sold out! Great crowd! (Doesn't look like it from the pics above taken during orchestra warm up. All the seats were filled by the time the concert started.)
