Big Boy Batman Bedroom and Other Heroics

With the painting done in the boys' rooms, we could consider redecorating. We thought it was high time that Ash graduate from his little boy trucks and cars motif to a superhero bedroom for a super boy :) He was so excited to open the comforter. He hauled the box into his bedroom and made his bed all by himself looking at the picture on the package. He even got the pillow shams right. 

It was personally fun for me picking out the Marvel and DC comics posters and art at Hobby Lobby and online. 

Zach requested a Mibecraft theme. We are currently working that one. His new comforter arrived yesterday. However his bedroom is currently a storehouse for books and all sorts of other furniture and odds and ends as the rest of the house gets painted this week. Pics to come soon. 

In other news, we all enjoyed going to the school book fair tonight. Here is our haul!

Zach and class went to the Tulsa Zoo for their 4th grade field trip. Zach had a blast with Oliver and Oliver's mom who went as a chaperone. I wish I could have gone too but was stuck in an all-day meeting with visitors.
