Natural Falls State Park

Yay for long weekends! Today we left home around 8:30am and headed east towards the Oklahoma-Arkansas border to visit Natural Falls State Park. We spent the day hiking and picnicking. It is a great park with nice shorter trails along a creek and in the woods. Apparently scenes for the 1974 film "Where the Red Fern Grows" were shot in this park. We enjoyed the views of the 77 ft falls, second tallest in OK. Two thumbs up!
