More festivities!

IToday was my first "sleep in" day since Thanksgiving break and boy did it feel good. Got up at 7:30 am (yes that is sleeping in) and had a nice breakfast with the boys. We got (most) of our travel plans for Christmas in Indiana figured out and are thinking of spending a few days in St. Louis on the way there.

At 11am I went to a Holiday Tea for The Ladies of Children's Musical Theater, a women's club who are patrons for that group. A fun time in the home of a fellow board member who has a fabulous western art collection. Anyway, here is a pic of the delectable goodies that she served us along with very delicious teas.
Afterwards I did some Christmas shopping at some of Bartlesville's local specialty shops and then came home and helped Ash with his homework. I then spent 2 hours making our annual photo Christmas card and photo gifts. This evening, we went out to dinner together (Chinese food per Zach's request) and the went to The Living Christmas Tree concert at a local church downtown featuring 3 different church choirs singing in a towering Christmas tree. Very impressive!
My good friend Dewayne (who is also my current boss at work) sang a solo. He has a fantastic baritone voice!
