Friday Fortunes

Finally, an end to yet another busy week!  Derek and I went to parent-teacher conferences this week.  Both boys are doing really well academically in school.  Zach is doing so well in math that his teacher is going to start to give him independent enrichment projects.  Yay!  Go Zach!  Both boys have a bit of work to do in the behavior department, (Ashton not arguing with his teacher.  Zach working on personal space.)  So, still room to grow :)

As we walked into Zach's class, we were welcomed by his awesome Pumpkin Carving composition.  We are so proud of him! We hope to take his directions to heart this weekend and we carve our own jacks.  Enjoy!

In other news, I will be running the Tulsa Run 15K (~9 miles) tomorrow morning with my running buddies.  I got this fortune at Ocean China tonight at dinner.  So, nine miles of quality running?  Not sure what that means?  Ha! Regardless, the race is expected to draw ~4,000 runners- so expecting to see all sorts of Halloween costumes on the route and listen to the live bands stationed along the way.   The object is to have fun!  More news to come!
