A Smidgen of Snow on New Year's Eve

We Millers are continuing to recover from all of the family activity by...

...getting up at 6:30 am to be out the door by 7:20am to go out to breakfast while the cleaning ladies descend on our house to make it tidy again (it needed it).  Hard to believe that a week has flown by already since Christmas Eve!  We went to Eggberts where everyone had a marvelous time eating an omelet and toast (me), pancakes and bacon (Zach), french toast (Derek), and fruit and sausage links (Ashton) while watching snow flakes fall.  Nothing accumulated, but it was nice to actually see snow, even if it was only for a short time.  We then picked up some odds and ends from the grocery store and drove around Bartlesville a bit before heading home to relax for the rest of the day - reading, playing games, occasionally napping, and generally being really lazy and boring!!!!

Snow-peppered Geese!

Friends are coming over around 7:30pm to help ring in the New Year (if we make it that far).  Maybe we will celebrate the East Coast New Year and call it quits.  Planning on putting out leftover cheeseball, crackers, and other munchies out while we visit.  I am looking forward to busting out the sangria again :)

Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow (yay) on our last day of holiday vacation (sob) and perhaps catching a run with Tracy later in the day if the weather cooperates.
