It has been another busy week. I spent most of Monday and Tuesday in Houston and Thursday and Friday in Ponca for work. Lots of traveling back and forth. I also have been working on all of my pre-work for my upcoming Executive Management course at Oklahoma State University the week of July 23rd. Both Zach and Ash has had lots of swimming pool/water play time at camp and day care. Zach's class went to the pool/water park up in Coffeyville, KS on Friday- but got rained out --- finally got some much needed rain here in OK---not enough though!
Yesterday our family spent the day in Tulsa at the Oklahoma Aquarium. It was neat to see how things have changed in 2 years. The shark exhibit remains one of the best. The baby seahorses are now full grown!
We then went to eat a Q'doba (another make-your-own burrito place that we love) and ran some errands before heading home. At Target, since the kids were so good, we let them each pick out an action figure of their choice. Ash chose Spider-man with motorcycle while Zach chose a lego Yoshi and Car (character from Super Mario Cart game). So cute- Ash fell asleep with the Spider-man package cradled in his arms on the way home.
The kids then had a good time building a track for their new characters.
Also here are some pics from the previous weekend with blocks and bicycle action!
Ashton "fixing" his bike. He wanted to be "just like Daddy" who was filling up bike tires and tightening bolts to get our bikes set for family rides. We also raised Zach's training wheels- trying to ween him off of them!
I went on a nice 6 mile run walk with Tracy this morning (we picked up Snyx for part of the walk too!). Such nice cooler weather. Now gearing up for a breakfast of cinnamon rolls and then back to studying for a bit. Zach and I will be going to see the Bartlesville Children's Theater production of "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" this afternoon. I can't wait to have some Zach time!!!
Great pictures! It was fun chatting earlier! Hope you had fun at the show :)
