Snickers really satisfies!

Well, we have a new family member. (Yup- only lasted a week without a dog...)  Her name is Snickers, and she is a 5 year old Australian shephard/ Jack Russell Terrier mix.  She is an active, yet calm girl.  She only barks when necessary (a nice deep throaty bark) during play or guarding.  She loves kids and she loves playing ball.  So far she obeys commands very well.  I'll try her out of a walk/run tomorrow morning.  She is ~30 pounds - a little bit taller and heftier than Jake.  But she is very sweet.  She hopped up with Zach when we tucked the kids into bed and is still there snoozing with him.  It is nice to have the sound of clicking nails and clinking tags in the house again.  I think Jake would approve :)

Well, she heard activity in the kitchen and has now made an appeared (Derek is making a snack).  All of those normal doggie instincts seems to be properly intact!
