So, the highlight of my day was when Ashton did a total nosedive into the laundry basket filled with clean towels tonight to "wipe his nose". "All clean", he said upon coming up for air. He was obviously talking about his nose as he left behind a booger the size of Texas on the towels... As the saying goes, the laundry is never done...unless you decide to go naked of course... but I digress...
Derek had his latest checkup this week with the oncologist. All looks great! His platelet counts are even back to normal which says his liver (which took a beating with the chemo) has healed well. Yay! Yay!
Zach has had 2 days of greens! Yay!
Tommi has had work every night since last Thursday (including the weekend). Not so yay- but hanging in there. Off to bed with another full day tomorrow... All work and no play makes Tommi...tired and grouchy...
OK- we also have to report the BIG FAMILY NEWS! Uncle Greg and Aunt Jenny are expecting a baby due in October!!!! Yay! SO EXCITING!!!!!! Apparently the "little nugget" (as he or she is affectionately known) had the hiccups during the sonogram today. How cute! We can't wait to meet him or her later in the year (although we will actively watch Jenny's stomach grow on Skype!).
Derek is telling me to get my butt to bed otherwise I will be cranky tomorrow... yes dear...Zzzzzzz...
Super huge YAYS for Derek and for Zach! That is HILARIOUS about the booger, and not so hilarious that you've had to work so much...boo! Thanks for the shout-out, too :)
