Yes- that is Bronchiolitis (otherwise known as RSV). The former is a fairly common early childhood virus -basically means fever, coughing and congestion, but can lead to severe breathing complications if unchecked. So, Ash has asthma-type treatments with a nebulizer (next to him in picture, can't wait to get the bill for that!) at least twice daily for the next week to help his breathing. As far as Derek and I were concerned, Ash was not having breathing problems and was not even coughing that much, but the medicine is a precaution to help prevent that from occurring. He will have a follow-up at the doctor tomorrow morning to listen to his breathing, but the doctor expects he can go back to daycare tomorrow. We will have another follow-up with his regular doctor on Saturday during his 2-year checkup (Derek met with another doctor today as the normal doctor was not in). Gee- when the appointments come, they arrive in waves...
Ash is in good spirits. I just put him down for a nap after giving him some graham crackers and bananas. He enjoyed watching Lightening McQueen and Mater this morning after visiting the doctor. Now I have to get focused on getting some work done befoe he gets up.

Glad Ash is feeling better! Good for Derek - congratulations!!! Hope Zach had a better day today. Sorry, had to laugh (it's either that or you cry) about your day yesterday. There are days like those in every Mom's life. Love and hugs.
