Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!
We have had a super-busy time getting settled in. So, sorry for the delay in updates. Grandma Dixie and Grandpa Cliff have been a really big help getting our house in order and watching the boys while Derek and I ran errands. We got all of our insurance taken care of, been to the DPS for driver's licenses, courthouse for plates and registration, a trip to the new pediatrician's office, and multiple trips to the giant IKEA and many others. We have Zach's schooling squared away. After multiple conversations with the school system, they pulled some strings to make room for Zach at the school that is just a block away from our house as well as the daycare (the one that we are zoned to attend). There was some initial concern as the kindergarten classes were at capacity- but all has been worked out. Yay! We spent an arm and a leg yesterday buying uniforms! Also, the paperwork was FINALLY received from the sellers, so we will close on our house officially on Monday.
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving together today as well as celebrating Derek's 36th birthday. Here are some pics. More of the house to come soon!
All of us with yummy fruit bouquet sent to us from Grandpa Randy and Grandma Peggy.
Thanksgiving table with beautiful birthday flowers from Grandpa Gary! Zach helped me make Great Grandma Helen Ruchti's stuffing recipe. YUMMMMM!!!!!
Pumpkin pie made by Zach and Grandma Dixie!
Derek's birthday "melting clock".

Seems like Derek and I were born in the same week. Like the bottle of Shiner Bock on the table :-)
