Fun with Grandma Peggy

Sorry it has taken me so long to update the blog. I have had technical difficulties getting image software up and running on my computer. Plus work has been driving me crazy and all I have wanted to do is zone out in the evenings watching episodes of Season 2 of "Breaking Bad".

We did have a great time last week with Grandma Peggy. Here are some highlights!

Fun with the new bubble machine! (Never knew so much joy could come from one $10 contraption!)

And making (and flying) paper airplanes!
Derek's design flown by Zach did much better than my more decorative design flown by Grandma Peggy. An engineer I am not!!!!

We had some nice meals out together, did a bit of shopping, and even got the car fixed. Grandma Peggy also helped with some of the cooking, making some of those meals that I loved growing up (and still crave now and then!!!!) We sure did miss her when we had to take her back to the airport on Sunday. At least we can look forward to seeing her the last week in May along with all of the rest of the Grandparents when we travel to Indiana! Zach has kept us informed every night all of the things he wants to do at each Grandparent's house during our trip! (visit the fish pond at Grandpa Gary's house, swim at Grandpa Randy and Grandma Peggy's- not sure it will be warm enough for the wading pool..., ride the tractor at Grandpa Cliff and Grandma Dixie's).
