We are back home safely after a really awesome vacation (and driving through some CRAZY weather)! I will post a blog series with favorite pics and anecdotes! But first things first. Zach turned 5 yesterday!!!!! Happy Birthday Zach! We had a family party for him on Sunday during our vacation with cake so he could enjoy his new toys and stuff during our vacation. We came home to a big box from Grandpa Gary containing a Pirate Ship Matchbox Mega Building set (including a giant purple squid!!!). The cool thing is that it is completely compatible with his Space Shuttle Mega Building set. So he and Derek have already made spaced out pirate ships! THANKS GRANDPA GARY!!!! (Thanks also for sending a present that completely challenged my abilities as a parent to remove it from the box!) Zach also received a really cool card from Aunt Jenny and Uncle Greg which has Darth Vader on it and plays the Imperial March. Zach was completely thrilled and has played it over 20 times in the past hour (and took it to bed with him)!
