Quick Family Update

Ash had his 4 month pediatric checkup today. He weighs 14 pounds 9 ounces. He also has been sleeping through the night (8 pm to 6:30am) consistently for a week now. YAY! His appointment was a bit rough though as he received two shots. Daddy was there to comfort him as Mommy had training all day at work (groan!). He was a bit cranky at daycare the rest of the day and woke up crying from his naps (poor little guy's legs were sore from the shots). Dining on mashed banana for the first time at dinner tonight seemed to cheer him up. He really liked it (kind of a funny face, then a big smile). He did NOT like the small dose of cherry-flavored Tylenol that we gave him at bedtime to help with his sore legs. Same funny face, but then a stuck-out lip and a big howl of disapproval. Derek and I are currently listening to him snore on the baby monitor. In Zach news, he likes to "read" the Sanda Boyton's book Moo Baa La La La to Ash (Ash LOVES it!!!) as well as sing the "Darth Vader Song" and "Whale of a Tale" (Crooned by a young Kirk Douglas in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) while playing his small guitar from Grandpa Randy and Grandma Peggy. We also all can't wait for Uncle Greg and Aunt Jenny's visit to Oklahoma this weekend!!!!! (Zach can wait to "pick them up from the airplane"!)
