No school!

We got a bit of ice and snow as of yesterday afternoon. So, school was closed today. Work was also delayed, but as it was "interesting" trying to get up our big cul-de-sac hill, Derek decided to work from home. We started off our day with a breakfast of blueberry pancakes and sausage. We ended up playing a bunch too- going outside to sled down the hill on the ice and making chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. The whole family got in on the cookie action! (Rest assured Grandma Dixie, no batter with raw eggs in it was eaten!) School is closed tomorrow too. Derek will be going back to work as the roads are not bad at all (and our hill should be more navigable). However, it will be "interesting" with both Zach and Ash all to myself tomorrow. I'll have to get creative. Wish me luck!
