Good news! Derek gets to wear his air cast/boot for 6 more weeks- his foot now in a neutral (flat)position, but can start walking on it immediately. He starts physical therapy sessions in 2 weeks. The ripping-out stage in our house is past (yay!!!). Electrical work is being finalized and sheet rock is being installed. You can see the I-beam which will be installed tomorrow to support where the wall was taken out. Zach has been studying Pilgrims and Indians at school for Thanksgiving. He loves to show off his Indian Head-dress! More updates to come soon!
I love the Indian Head-dress. Its hilarious because it looks like perhaps Derek was injured by the hands of Zach-the-Indian. Hahaha!
