Derek is 34 today! In honor of this major achievement, lights were installed in the kitchen! Also, the wall is completely out. Only a stud frame is in place for load bearing until the gas pipe can be removed (either tomorrow or Monday) and the support system can be built.
In other news we just found out that Hondo, my parent's dog whom we adopted when I was in college, passed away suddenly today. He was 14 years old. He had a fabulous walk and tizzy in the snow last night. So, he was happy and active up until the end. We will miss him very much! (He will always be my little Spudness!)
